Since sending fax from documents that are not digital has to go through the process of changing format or scanning, the file can be damaged or deviated from the turn original, especially the background of the paper which should be white, but the result of the scan may not be 100% white. See the illustration.

Therefore, an easy technique to improve the quality of your fax is to use picture editing or ms office programs to whitener the background.

1. the font used is from "Word," which will give the best result

Print out to hard copy and make from hard copy to digital format by scaning (2).

2. The scanning was done in mode RGB or Grayscale (from hard copy)

3. There has been an adjustment of the background to make it closest to the tone of actual paper.

From the illustration of result:
1. The quality will be better than scanning the hard copy.
2. There's a problem with background of the scanned picture.
3. The problem has been solved.
